“The Secretary of Labor is tasked with being the leading advocate the United State’s workforce. But given the comments from Andy Puzder himself, it’s painfully clear that he is the worst choice for the job of helping America’s workers. He opposes raising the minimum wage, wants to replace restaurant workers with computers, and opposed rules that protect our workers.
It’s obvious that he and President-elect Trump value profit over the people and that is exactly what this selection is solidifies.
Senators Corker and Alexander owe it to Tennessee and American workers to call on the President-elect to change course and select someone who will fight for the American worker, not corporate leaders.”
