About the Logo

The new TNDP logo represents the positive changes in our party as we move forward into a new era of leadership locally and nationally. Using colors matched to those of the successful Presidential campaign of 2008 and the flag of Tennessee, this new logo communicates many of our proud traditions as well as the renewed interest throughout our state in what the Democratic Party has to offer.
The open type style of the logo is designed to represent modernization, simplicity and transparency. The use of lower case letters conveys the idea of a party that does not take itself too seriously and exists as an extension of the people, in service to the people.
The new TNDP logo was designed by Lucas Leverett, a freelance graphic designer in Nashville.
