The smears against healthcare reform are starting to sound a lot like the ridiculous accusations that were thrown around during the presidential campaign last year.    I cannot believe that the Democrats can’t get organized enough to pass a good bill for healthcare reform which includes the public option. Everyone keeps saying we can’t afford it – well, end both wars and pay for it with the money which would be spent there.

   Dear Mr. President,
   I know of a local man, Earl Lewis, who will be kicked off of Tenncare. He had a heart transplant and his meds cost $2400 a month. Will he die? Please lead the way for a public option health care.
