Maury County Husband and Wife, Lynn & Sue Nelson, Celebrate 50th Wedding Anniversary at DNC Convention
A romance that started five decades ago is being celebrated this week at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C. As organizers gear up for this week’s activities, one Tennessee couple marked their Golden Anniversary.
Tennessee delegate Lynn Charles Nelson, of Maury County is enjoying his 50th wedding anniversary with his wife Sue. The couple was officially married 50 years on Sept. 1. They are both life long Democrats and they’ve been recognized as distinguished members of the Maury County Democratic Party.
