Sherry’s Run to Honor the Memory of Former Party Treasurer and Activist Dixie Taylor-Huff

Dixie Taylor-Huff, a dynamic force in health care and politics, will be memorialized as the honoree of Sherry’s Run, a fundraising run/walk that raises money for those affected by and battling cancer in Middle Tennessee.

Taylor-Huff, a former treasurer for the Tennessee Democratic Party and President of the Nashville Women’s Political Caucus, passed away in May of this past May after a courageous battle with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Her upbeat presence and energy is sorely missed by all those who knew and worked with her.

The ninth annual Sherry’s Run is scheduled for Saturday, September 8th, at 8 a.m. in Lebanon. It will begin behind the main branch of Wilson Bank and Trust on West Main Street. For more information and donation inquiries please go to www.sherrysrun.org.
