Is the Doctor Who Has Sex with His Patients Gov. Haslam’s New Health Care Adviser?
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — TNDP Chairman Chip Forrester issued the following statement in response to Congressman Scott DesJaralis’ letter to Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam in opposition of establishing a health insurance exchange as required by the Affordable Care Act:
“It takes a lot of gall for Scott DesJarlais, a doctor who violated medical ethics by having sex with his patients, to be lecturing Gov. Bill Haslam about health care policy. Tennesseans deserve to know if the advice given by an unprofessional, unethical doctor is the reason Gov. Haslam is stalling on creating a health insurance exchange that will empower working families.”
