Your County Party

From Mountain City to Memphis, Democrats are working in neighborhoods across our state to build local organizations from the ground up. Grassroots Democrats in every county help with electoral efforts, voter registration, candidate recruitment, volunteer recruitment and training.

Our History

The Tennessee Democratic Party has a long and storied history—producing some of the most well known figures in Democratic politics. President Andrew Jackson, “Old Hickory,” is often considered the founder of the modern Democratic Party.
