After his opponent, Senator Lamar Alexander, urged passage of Paulson’s initial three-page draft of the Wall St. bailout plan, giving sweeping executive authority over the use of $700 billion in taxpayer money, Senate candidate Bob Tuke calls the memo “poison in the well” and asks for Paulson’s resignation.
