Our internship program gives young people the opportunity to learn about elections and political operations by providing hands-on experience with an extremely focused and dynamic organization. All interns will learn a variety of skills.
Interns will have the opportunity to experience political work in organizing, communications, finance, data, or operations. They will assist a TNDP staffer working to grow the progressive movement in Tennessee.
Elections are won in the “off years.” The organizing we do each and every day puts us in a position to win. Interns work alongside staff to build the infrastructure to elect Democrats across the state at all levels of government. TNDP interns must commit to at least 10 hours per week. Exceptions will be made on a case to case basis. This is an unpaid internship, but we can provide class credit.
If you have any questions, please contact Sandra at firstname.lastname@example.org. Apply by sending your resume to Sandra. Applicants will be required to complete an interview before being accepted into the program.
