“From the beginning, Democrats begged Donald Trump, Marsha Blackburn, and the Republican majority in the state capitol to listen to the doctors and the scientists and take the Coronavirus seriously. Instead, they downplayed the threat and told the American people that the virus would magically disappear.
Tonight, Marsha won’t mention the 180,000 lives lost because of their incompetence, the massive increase in the number of uninsured children, the thirteen rural Tennessee hospitals that have closed under Republican watch, or how the Trump administration has been fighting for years to take away health care coverage from millions of hard-working Americans.
Joe Biden, unlike Trump and Marsha, has the experience to lead a nationwide offense against the coronavirus, implement a national strategy to increase the availability of free coronavirus testing, and direct the right resources to the right places to develop treatments and vaccines. And he will protect and expand the Affordable Care Act so that no American will have to choose between going to the doctor or putting food on the table.
Early voting starts October 14 and goes for fourteen days. Make a plan to vote now – be safe, mask up, avoid the crowds, and vote early during early voting.”–Mary Mancini, Chair, Tennessee Democratic Party
