Tennessee’s strongest asset is its future.
The Tennessee Democratic Party understands that our generation does not own our world; we are merely borrowing it from future generations. Only we get to decide the Tennessee we hand off to the next generation of leaders.
If we wish to give our youth the best possible future in Tennessee, we must invest in their education, drive down the costs of living, and provide them with ample opportunities in-state to keep Tennesseeans in Tennessee.
That means:
- Standing by our teachers to make sure they are well-funded and well-supported as they educate the next generation of Tennesseans.
- Advocating for policies that keep Tennesseans in Tennessee.
- Fighting for the survival of jobs and industries that have been outsourced to other states/countries.
