The truth is, living has gotten too expensive for every Tennessean.
The majority of people in our state are primarily concerned with being able to afford their next round of bills. It is no surprise that things have become more expensive over the last few decades: bills, groceries, insurance, rent, or mortgage (if you are lucky). The truth is, living has gotten too expensive for every Tennessean. We refuse to settle for less.
That means:
- Ensuring quality and affordable childcare and housing in safe neighborhoods with access to clean water, fresh food, shopping, recreation, and public transportation.
- Introducing policies that support healthcare treatment and recovery costs, including paid time off, transportation, and aftercare.
- Combatting the rise of inflation in the grocery store and beyond.
