About Michaela
Michaela Barnett is a scientist and small business owner who spent the last year working in Congress. She is fighting for an economy that works for everyone, a healthcare system focused on people not profits, a government that serves the people, and better public infrastructure for Tennesseans.
Dr. Barnett is running for the longest-held Republican seat in the country. Her opponent is Rep. Tim Burchett, who has been a career politician for 32 years, and has spent the last seven years in Congress. In that time, not a single bill he has sponsored has become law. Not one.
